Horses have been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. As a child my grandad often took me to car boot sales. I once came back with over 30 model horses! My best friend and I would spend hours playing with these toy steeds or cantering around the garden, longing for the day when we might have real horses of our very own. 

 

From drawing them to riding them, horses are a huge part of my life. 

 

I'm still the little girl who painted a giant horse head on a wall in her council house bedroom. Sadly, I don't have a picture of it, but I remember the joy of creating it.

This set of work, is an attempt to share my joy of these beautiful animals with you.
